This role involves taking ownership of solar projects, managing them through the early-stage development process, and ensuring they are technically feasible, commercially viable, and financially sound.

Responsibilities
Take full ownership of assigned solar projects, collaborating with the Regional Lead to actively manage them through the early-stage development process in preparation for handover to the construction team
Deliver technically feasible, schedule-appropriate, commercially viable, and financially sound projects through comprehensive daily management
Analyze technical and financial data, identifying key variables, trends, and indicators to inform project decisions
Develop, own, and actively manage project capital budgets, including support for approvals and optimization efforts
Provide development and permitting support; coordinate with subject matter experts; facilitate engineering reviews; resolve issues; contribute to construction planning and scheduling; support commercial contract negotiations and execution; and pursue value-engineering opportunities
Utilize various software tools to manage project data, deliverables, and activities
Prepare for and participate in communications with senior leadership, with guidance from the Regional Lead
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Regional Lead to support team organization, data integrity, readiness, and overall project success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Proven capacity to work independently with minimal direction
Preferred
Strong financial and data analysis capabilities
Mechanical/technical curiosity or awareness of relevant variables in solar/energy projects
Prior experience in construction, the energy industry, and/or solar development
Demonstrated interest in advancing along a project management career track
