Responsibilities
Learn and understand all aspects of the organization’s mission, programs, funding sources, and strategic priorities
Provide day to day coordination and support for economic development initiatives and projects
Put together marketing materials and social media content
Independently plan, coordinate and execute events and meetings
Coordinate Board meetings to include scheduling, agenda preparation, materials distribution, minutes, and follow-up actions
Work closely with board members, committees, and leadership to support organizational initiatives
Coordinate communication & collaboration with outside businesses, community partners, and other stakeholders
Represent the organization professionally at meetings, events, and public-facing engagements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in economics, business, public administration, planning, communications or related field
Strong Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with board members, business leaders, and community partners
Desire to learn and grow with the organization
Preferred
Previous experience with community development or nonprofit organization strongly preferred
