Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 3D Revit structural models and 2D drawings/details for structural building systems
Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies, including:
3D models
2D cross-sections and details
Tolerance stack-ups
Electronic data formats supporting analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection
Apply structural drafting and design best practices, including coordination with mechanical piping, HVAC, and electrical disciplines
Support the Civil/Structural team in Revit and Navisworks environments
Work with BIM coordination teams to manage and issue models using Autodesk Construction Cloud, following configuration management standards
Perform work in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and project requirements
Utilize technical experience and analytical thinking to support design execution and decision-making
Perform checking and verification of 3D structural models and 2D drawings
Act as a Drafting/Modeling Checker, ensuring compliance with drafting standards and model management practices
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members
Use in-depth discipline knowledge to support execution of design strategy and complex problem-solving
Coordinate across multiple internal teams and limited external stakeholders to resolve design challenges
Qualification
Required
MUST BE A US CITIZEN

Mid-Level: Associate's degree in Structural Design (or similar) with 3+ years of structural drafting experience OR 5+ years of relevant structural drafting experience in heavy industrial, thermal power, nuclear, or similar industries
Minimum 3 years of Revit experience for structural modeling
Ability to pass required nuclear security background checks
Senior-Level: Associate's degree in Structural Design (or similar) with 5+ years of structural drafting experience OR 10+ years of relevant structural drafting experience in heavy industrial, thermal power, nuclear, or similar industries
Minimum 5 years of Revit experience for structural modeling
5+ years performing a Drafting/Modeling Checking role
Ability to pass required nuclear security background checks
Preferred
Advanced knowledge of Revit, including family creation
Experience with Autodesk BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud
Familiarity with Autodesk Vault
Autodesk Inventor experience is a plus
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams
Experience managing work priorities and project schedules
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Teams
