Responsibilities
Design and implement our company's network infrastructure, with a particular focus on our RingCentral communication system
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring high levels of network availability and reliability
Work with other engineers, support staff, and business leaders to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of network services
Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date
Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, making recommendations for network upgrades or enhancements as needed
Implement and maintain network security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including training and documentation as needed
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network issues
Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer
Strong understanding of RingCentral communication system, including administration, troubleshooting, and support
Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network intrusion detection and prevention systems
Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred
Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or RingCentral certification, are a plus
