Compensation Analyst

This role involves the design, evaluation, and administration of compensation programs, collaborating with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure competitive and compliant compensation practices.

Responsibilities

Assist with the design, maintenance, and administration of salary structures, pay grades, and incentive plans
Conduct compensation benchmarking and market pricing using reputable market survey data
Analyze internal pay data to support compensation decisions, job evaluations, and salary structure management
Administer the annual compensation cycle, including merit increases, bonuses, salary reviews, and calibration processes
Provide compensation guidance to HR Business Partners and hiring managers, ensuring decisions align with organizational policies and market data
Prepare compensation analytics, dashboards, and reporting to support business decision-making
Support compliance with relevant U.S. and Canadian wage laws, pay transparency regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls
Participate in compensation-related projects such as the creation of a Global Job architecture, policy reviews, and system build out

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; or equivalent experience
2-4 years of compensation analysis or relevant HR experience
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel proficiency required
Ability to interpret market data, job documentation, and regulatory requirements
Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with compensation tools or HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Lyric, Workday, Radford, BetterComp) preferred
Experience supporting base pay compensation programs across Global environments
Familiarity with pay transparency regulations and evolving compensation compliance requirements
Experience in supporting the design, implementation, and administration of variable pay compensation
Experience with Canadian compensation practices and a strong understanding of Canadian labor regulations is a plus
