Test Administrator

USAJOBS is seeking a Test Administrator to administer written or computer-based Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Enlistment Tests at Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) or other remote testing sites. The role involves conducting aptitude examinations and ensuring the security and accountability of test materials while working on an intermittent basis.

Responsibilities

Conducts specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 person (enlistment tests), and 1 to 250 persons (student tests)
Instruct applicants on testing procedures and starts, observes, times, and ends the test or test segment as directed
Utilize computer systems and software to administer computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests
Responsible for the security and accountability of student test booklets, at home, during transport, and at the testing location

Required

U.S. Citizens, Nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S
One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled
Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
Possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles
Lift up to 30 lbs. in the regular performance of duties
Work on an intermittent or unscheduled, on-call basis (to include evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 100% of the time
