Responsibilities

Conduct workshops and interviews to capture operational requirements for aviation workflows
Perform gap analysis and identify process optimization opportunities
Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices
Maintain traceability matrices and ensure compliance with aviation standards (FAA/EASA)
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams for scope clarity
Manage change requests and perform impact analysis
Support UAT planning and execution; validate deliverables against requirements
Work closely with developers and architects to ensure feasibility and clarity of requirements
Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and interface data mappings for operational systems

Required

Strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and process modeling
Expertise in BRD/FSD creation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Azure ADO
Deep understanding of aviation operations: Crew Scheduling, Flight Ops, Safety
Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FAA/EASA) and airline industry standards
Familiarity with Crew Management Systems (CMS) and airline industry standards
Basic knowledge of cloud-native platforms, API integrations, and microservices
Understanding of REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and enterprise data models
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work in Agile/SAFe environments and manage cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
5-8+ years in business analysis roles
Exposure to aviation IT systems and operational workflows
Proven ability to manage requirements for large-scale aviation projects

Preferred

CBAP or PMI-PBA for business analysis
SAFe® Agilist for scaled agile delivery
Airline domain certifications (IATA or equivalent)
