Responsibilities
Take ownership of complex systems across scheduling, payments, automations, communications, reporting, and internal tooling
Help guide architectural decisions and reduce technical debt
Mentor other engineers
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience with Ruby and/or Elixir (6+ years preferred)
Experience with at least one additional backend language (e.g. Rust, Golang, Python, Java, etc.)
Comfortable working across backend and frontend systems as needed
Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, from design through production
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with Product and Design teams
Strong system design skills with a focus on scalability, resilience, and reliability
Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting production systems
Cloud-native mindset and experience leveraging open-source technologies
Passion for building software that delivers real-world impact
