Responsibilities
Deliver effective solutions to complex legal issues facing clients that administer or provide health care services
Advise on a broad array of health care legal matters, including health care regulatory and compliance matters, health care reimbursement, health care operations, health information privacy and security, Medi-Cal managed care, provider and vendor contracting, payer-provider disputes, and mergers and acquisitions
Litigate health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters, including arbitration and litigation of reimbursement disputes
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of litigation experience
Interest in health care law
Knowledge and experience litigating health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters
Experience with arbitration and litigation of reimbursement disputes
Admitted to practice in California
Preferred
Public agency experience
Experience with health care regulatory matters related to public health care providers and Medi-Cal
Admitted in Nevada, or willing to take the Nevada bar exam
