Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates
Build and review complex financial models, including operating models, LBOs, accretion/dilution analysis, and valuation frameworks
Conduct detailed valuation analyses using comparable companies, precedent transactions, DCF, and other methodologies
Manage due‑diligence processes, data rooms, Q&A, and workstreams with clients, legal teams, and investors
Prepare and present client materials, including pitch decks, board materials, CIMs, process updates, and strategic reviews
Interface directly with founders, CFOs, PE/VC firms, and strategic acquirers
Contribute to relationship-building, idea generation, and origination efforts across the tech ecosystem
Stay current on trends across software, cloud, cybersecurity, fintech, AI/ML, digital infrastructure, and adjacent tech sectors
Conduct market mapping, competitive landscape assessments, and qualitative strategic analysis
Support senior bankers in developing thought leadership and sector insights
Mentor and manage Analysts; review work output and provide structured feedback
Collaborate with senior leadership to refine internal processes and deal execution standards
Contribute to recruiting, training, and culture-building within the firm
Qualification
Required
3–4+ years of total experience, including at least 2–3 years in investment banking (bulge bracket, elite boutique, strong sector boutique, or Big Four corporate finance)
Demonstrated transaction experience in technology —software, fintech, digital infrastructure, or related verticals strongly preferred
Strong financial modeling skills and mastery of valuation techniques
Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel capability
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
Preferred
Prior M&A-heavy experience or end-to-end execution exposure
Experience working with founder-led or PE/VC-backed companies
Comfort operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
