Responsibilities
Design end-to-end observability and AI Ops architectures across metrics, logs, traces, events, and models
Define instrumentation standards, signal modeling, and data retention strategies
Architect AI Ops pipelines for anomaly detection, prediction, and automation
Ensure platforms are scalable, reliable, explainable, and operationally trustworthy
Build and operate observability pipelines, dashboards, alerts, and instrumentation
Deploy, integrate, and monitor AI models in production environments
Tune signal quality, reduce alert noise, and optimize model effectiveness
Troubleshoot complex production issues across observability and AI systems
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Observability and AI Ops junior engineers
Conduct code, configuration, and model reviews
Break down designs into executable delivery tasks
Establish operational best practices, on-call readiness, and incident workflows
Own delivery outcomes for observability and AI Ops workstreams
Partner with Data & Analytics counterparts to align on shared data models and pipelines
Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to customer stakeholders
Support production rollout, operational readiness, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in observability, SRE, platform engineering, or AI Ops
Strong hands-on experience with observability tooling and production systems
Experience deploying and operating ML or statistical models in production
Strong Python skills and systems troubleshooting ability
Agile or SAFe delivery experience
Preferred
Experience with OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing
Exposure to automation frameworks and ITSM integration
Experience operating AI-driven systems in mission-critical environments
