Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of DB2 database structures , including advanced indexing strategies, schema design, and performance tuning
Develop, refine, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, procedures, and database automation scripts
Oversee database performance monitoring and execute high-level tuning, root-cause analysis, and remediation for production and development environments
Partner with engineering, application, and cloud teams to architect and maintain solutions in AWS Cloud (e.g., RDS, EC2)
Provide subject‑matter expertise on Maximo 9.0 database requirements, upgrades, and integrations (preferred but not required)
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as a DB2 DBA, with strong emphasis on development and performance engineering
Proven experience supporting and optimizing databases in AWS Cloud environments
Expert-level knowledge in index creation, query optimization, data modeling, and performance diagnostics
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage complex datasets and high‑volume systems
Preferred
Provide subject‑matter expertise on Maximo 9.0 database requirements, upgrades, and integrations (preferred but not required)
Experience with Maximo 9.0 or similar enterprise asset management systems is a plus
