BIM Specialist

Responsibilities
Provide High-Quality BIM & Revit Support: Act as a helpdesk resource for employees across all offices, delivering timely and accurate troubleshooting for Revit, ACC/BIM 360, and related design software. Resolve project delivery issues efficiently and maintain strong internal relationships
Support Project Teams in Setup & Execution: Assist project teams with new Revit project setup, ACC/BIM360 environment configuration, permissions, coordination spaces, and BIM Execution Plan requirements
Maintain & Improve Firmwide BIM Standards: Collaborate with the BIM team to manage, update, and improve BIM standards, templates, naming conventions, content libraries, and Revit families
Deliver Training & Mentorship Across the Firm: Provide one-on-one and group training sessions on Revit, ACC, model health, and best practices. Create documentation, user guides, and onboarding resources
Contribute to a Strong BIM Culture: Champion collaboration, strong communication, and continuous improvement. Complete assignments independently and on time while working well with others
Advance the Digital Practice Through Innovation: Participate in evaluating new tools, plugins, workflows, and AI-assisted modeling techniques
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related AEC discipline
Minimum of two years of experience in the AEC industry with an understanding of architectural project workflows
At least one year of experience supporting a BIM environment in a professional setting
Expertise in Autodesk Revit with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in Autodesk BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Knowledge of legacy CAD tools, particularly Autodesk AutoCAD
Prior experience mentoring or training staff (individually or in group settings)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across distributed teams
Preferred
Strong understanding of model health, file management, and Revit performance optimization
Technical knowledge of AEC tools such as Rhino, SketchUp, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and other design applications
Familiarity with visual scripting tools (e.g., Dynamo)
Teaching or training experience
Interest in emerging tools, plugins, and AI-assisted BIM workflows
