Responsibilities

Lead complex geotechnical projects from concept through completion, managing budget, schedule, and quality
Oversee field explorations, subsurface investigations, laboratory testing, and construction observation
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and proposals that support project delivery and business development
Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to deliver innovative geotechnical solutions
Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance across projects
Track project progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to ensure successful outcomes

Required

B.S. in Civil Engineering
12+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, including project management
Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain PE quickly
Proficiency in geotechnical software (AutoCAD, Geostudio, Lpile, or similar)
Knowledge of transportation and railroad design and construction standards
Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide
