Responsibilities
Provide remote technical support for VoIP and data solutions deployed at customer sites
Diagnose and resolve voice and network issues, working toward first-time fixes whenever possible
Handle incoming support calls, emails, and support tickets via the queue
Perform live fault finding with customers and escalate to senior engineers when needed
Configure and pre-build voice and data solutions prior to installation, ensuring documentation is accurate and centrally stored
Complete SIP migrations (“SIP cuts”) and maintain clear technical records
Monitor systems proactively to identify and resolve issues before service is impacted
Support customers during service disruptions and drive incidents through to resolution
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide out-of-hours emergency support (remote and occasionally on-site)
Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners
Contribute to team knowledge by supporting training and coaching when required
Keep technical certifications and required training up to date
Follow internal processes, documentation standards, and service delivery frameworks
Take on additional duties as required to support business needs
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting VoIP, SIP, and IP-based telephony systems
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with voice and data environments
Experience working with ticketing systems and technical documentation
