Account Manager – Flame Retardant Materials (Remote)
Trylak is seeking a high-energy, technically-minded Account Manager to drive growth within their Flame Retardants division. The role focuses on expanding the company's footprint by providing technical expertise and exceptional relationship management to customers seeking high-performance mineral solutions.
Responsibilities
Drive sales of MDH and ATH across the US market, identifying new applications and high-value opportunities
Act as a subject matter expert, helping customers navigate formulation challenges and regulatory requirements
Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and technical trials to contract negotiation and long-term account retention
Monitor trends in polymer compounding and mineral pricing to provide strategic feedback to the product management team
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in specialty chemical sales
Strong network
Ability to travel as needed to visit customers and attend industry trade shows
Must be based in the United States
Preferred
Plastic Additives or Flame Retardants preferred
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related business field is a plus
