Solution Advisor Expert- Business Technology Platform (BTP) (SAP Build) – Northeast

Responsibilities
Serve as the principal technical and solution authority for strategic accounts and complex opportunities across the sales cycle (qualification → design → close → handover → expansion)
Own end-to-end solution articulation for SAP BTP: architecture patterns, integration strategies (S/4HANA, third-party systems), extension frameworks, automation, and AI-driven use cases
Lead and drive high-impact customer engagements: executive briefings, technical workshops, architecture reviews, RFP responses, customized demos, and multi-stakeholder proofs-of-concept
Provide deep solution-specific expertise to support new sales and adoption for key customers
Provide both standard and customized/personalized solution demonstrations that bring SAP solutions to life and show customers the value of SAP
Support the Account Team by delivering solution presentations and events to identify and qualify new opportunities and drive adoption and consumption of SAP solutions
Evaluate account qualification criteria to determine further investment in pursuing opportunities
Establish yourself as a thought leader within the account team and fine-tune account strategy
Collaborate with the team in creating overall themes and competitive differentiation
Conduct vigorous dry runs on strategic deals and customer engagements
Transition engagement to implementation partner/ Services teams effectively
Engage with customers to continue selling the vision of SAP solutions and ensure eagerness for renewal
Leverage digital assets throughout the customer engagement, including demos, presentations, and other content
Qualification
Required
12+ years of professional work experience with large software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution and/or architecture advisory role
4+ years of relevant SAP BTP and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) experience in a customer-facing role
Expertise with Business Technology Platform (BTP) components (application development, automation, integration, AI)
Functional knowledge of S/4HANA applications and/or optimization of business processes using SAP BTP would be helpful
Strong understanding of development, integration and artificial intelligence industry trends
Strong understanding of industry leaders and competitive differentiators
Viewed as a solution expert and trusted advisor with a track record of success
Strong executive presence with the ability to tell relevant industry stories about optimizing business processes with technology
4 + years of Demonstrable, hands-on experience with SAP Build Apps, Build Process Automation, and Build Work Zone—able to articulate architecture, trade-offs, and roadmaps to technical and executive stakeholders
Proven track record designing and delivering production-grade solutions using industry standard programming languages such as Javascript. Solid understanding of UI composition, data binding, custom components, client-side logic, responsive design, and extension patterns
Experience owning end-to-end automation solutions: modeling BPMN workflows, configuring human tasks/approvals, implementing business rules, and delivering RPA/automation bots that realize measurable business outcomes
Ability to design and communicate integration strategies between Build artifacts and enterprise backends (S/4HANA, third-party APIs) using OData/REST, secure destinations, and API management; define transactional/consistency guarantees
Strong security and identity expertise for Build solutions—XSUAA/OAuth/OIDC or SAML implementations, role/authorization modeling, governance, and compliance controls
Skilled at creating and running customer-facing technical workshops, executive briefings, personalized demos, and proofs-of-concept that translate business outcomes into technical solutions
Experience establishing CI/CD, versioning, automated testing, and environment promotion practices for Build projects to enable safe, repeatable deployments
Ability to create reusable templates, reference architectures, demo kits, and playbooks to scale adoption and reduce time-to-value across accounts
Proven mentoring and enablement experience: coaching citizen developers and technical teams, defining governance guardrails, and raising overall presales capability
