New Grad, Entry LevelPTR Global is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage inventory and logistics operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing materials for shipping, and collaborating with team leaders to optimize warehouse processes.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate asset and inventory records in ServiceNow
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse
Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools and/or power tools
Drive physical inventories
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials
Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes
Confer or correspond with Team Leader to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or non-conformance to specifications
Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins
Support Team Leader with Thought Leadership on logistics and warehouse operations and participates in creating plans for improvement and road-maps
May perform other job duties as directed by supervisor
