Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, test, and debug software applications in a Windows client/server environment using .NET technologies
Design, code, document, and support moderately complex business information systems
Prepare detailed technical specifications and program requirements
Support application hosting environments through server provisioning and configuration
Perform IIS administration, system configuration, and infrastructure troubleshooting
Analyze SQL Server queries and optimize performance of complex stored procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
Support continuous integration and deployment configuration and administration in Azure DevOps (ADO)
Collaborate with team members while adhering to departmental development standards and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 6 years of professional software development and/or business analytical experience
Strong experience with .NET development (C#) and application design
SQL Server expertise, including query analysis and performance tuning of complex stored procedures
Experience with server provisioning and application hosting configuration
Strong knowledge of IIS administration and system configuration
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
Some infrastructure knowledge required
Experience with CI/CD tools and administration, including: Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Git
Strong understanding of code management and system integration
General knowledge of: JavaScript, AJAX, C#
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Professional Systems Administration experience
Proven experience interpreting user requirements and building business applications
Prior experience working in claims administration/insurance claims industry
