Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison with IT and business partners to identify, understand, document, and advise on security requirements, impacts, and risks
Develop and maintain documentation for security systems, procedures, and security diagrams
Analyze, propose, and implement solutions related to residual risk, vulnerabilities, and other security exposures
Participate in IT projects to ensure security considerations are addressed throughout the project lifecycle
Support initiatives to identify, select, and implement technical security controls
Develop information security processes, policies, and procedures; advise on service level agreements and ensure security controls are managed and maintained
Research, evaluate, and recommend information security hardware and software, including development of business cases for security investments
Serve as a liaison and lead for audit-related initiatives, including relationship management, data collection, tracking progress, assessments, and remediation efforts
Assist and support the development of security architecture
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of related work experience
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience in IT, IT Infrastructure, and/or Cybersecurity
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Knowledge of information security principles including risk assessment and management, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management
Knowledge of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated network protocols and concepts
Strong technical knowledge of current systems, software, protocols, and standards (including TCP/IP and network administration)
Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining security procedures
In-depth knowledge of operating systems and security applications, with working knowledge of basic network protocols and tools
Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, and appropriate assertiveness
Ability to work under stress in emergency situations and manage multiple high-pressure tasks simultaneously
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to audiences at all levels
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage tasks independently
Willingness to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback
Strong customer focus with the ability to manage expectations and build long-term relationships
Team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors and IT/business partners
Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives
