Responsibilities
Executing manual and exploratory testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage to drive proper delivery outcomes
Managing defect tracking, triaging, and resolution processes, working closely with development teams
Identifying and supporting opportunities for test automation development
Driving early and continuous testing throughout the software development lifecycle, adopting agile testing methodologies and ensuring early defect detection in the development lifecycle
Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
Working independently and receiving moderate guidance
Qualification
Required
Previous Annuities Industry experience
5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Analysis
Experience working in any of the Annuity Administration Platform such as Vantage-One, DSS, or wmA
Demonstrated hands-on expertise in manual testing, test case design, and defect management
Experience with CI/CD integration and DevOps practices
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience with testing mainframe applications
Familiar with technologies like API's, Web Services, AI, Python, .NET
