Responsibilities
Lead sourcing activities for products and suppliers in support of customer requirements and open inquiries
Partner with sales teams to address technical product questions and identify cost‑effective sourcing solutions
Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and delivery schedules to meet business and customer objectives
Conduct market research, spend analysis, and supplier benchmarking to drive cost savings and performance improvements
Build, evaluate, and maintain strategic supplier relationships focused on quality, cost, and reliability
Manage RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations across assigned commodities
Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, operations, engineering, and supply chain to maximize business opportunities and mitigate risk
Support new product introductions and sourcing strategies for evolving customer needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience
Strong background in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and commercial decision‑making
Ability to analyze technical product data and translate requirements into sourcing solutions
Proven problem‑solving, organizational, and project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP experience preferred
Flexible, proactive, and strategic thinker with strong communication skills
Preferred
Experience sourcing industrial supplies, MRO items, critical spares, or electrical components is a strong advantage
