New Grad, Entry LevelVictaulic is seeking a temporary Quality Inspector to support second-shift operations and help reduce a current inspection backlog. This role involves performing manual inspections, data collection, and accurate documentation of results while ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of production parts using manual measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other basic inspection equipment
Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and basic GD&T requirements
Accurately record and enter inspection results into quality systems, spreadsheets, or databases
Review and enter test data generated from automated inspection or test equipment
Verify parts meet drawing and specification requirements and clearly document any nonconformances
Follow established inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
Maintain organized inspection records to support traceability and audits
Work independently on second shift while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations
Communicate inspection issues or concerns clearly to quality or manufacturing leadership
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma
Experience performing quality inspection or dimensional inspection in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and part specifications
Proficiency with manual measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gages, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
Ability to work second shift hours reliably
Preferred
Familiarity with GD&T concepts
General awareness of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), including understanding what they are used for (programming not required)
Previous experience entering or reviewing data from automated inspection or test systems
