Responsibilities
Assist with demolition, construction, and finishing tasks for renovation projects
Follow plans and instructions from the renovation team lead or supervisor
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facilities
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure properties remain in excellent condition
Assist in framing, drywall installation, painting, and finishing
Install flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures as required
Support both minor and major construction tasks during renovations
Install and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and water heaters
Complete basic electrical tasks, such as installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures
Load and unload materials and tools as needed
Maintain clean, organized work areas
Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Basic knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
Strong communication skills for working with residents, colleagues, and management
Customer service-oriented mindset for addressing resident needs professionally
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
Willingness to work collaboratively with property managers and other team members
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations, handle emergencies, and work in various weather conditions
Preferred
Previous experience in maintenance or related fields
