Interactive Resources - iR is partnering with a well-established technology company to find a Manager of Data Analytics & Data Science. This role focuses on leading a team to modernize analytics and enhance data science capabilities while providing actionable insights to business leaders.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of analytics and data science professionals
Build and scale a high-performing organization across analytics, data engineering, and data science
Establish best practices around analytics, modeling, experimentation, and visualization
Support hiring, onboarding, and long-term professional development of team members
Partner with senior leaders to define analytics and data science strategy aligned to business goals
Identify high-impact opportunities where data can improve operations, efficiency, and decision-making
Own delivery of end-to-end data initiatives—from discovery through execution and adoption
Balance near-term business needs with longer-term platform and capability development
Provide technical guidance across analytics, BI, and data science workflows
Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across reporting and models
Drive adoption and best practices around Looker, ensuring dashboards and insights are scalable, trusted, and widely used
Stay current on emerging trends in analytics, data science, and cloud data platforms
Serve as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences
Influence business decisions through strong data storytelling and visualization, frequently delivered through Looker
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering, or similar)
4–7 years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence
3–7 years of people management experience, including mentoring and developing data professionals
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
Proficiency in Python or R
Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools; strong Looker experience is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills and comfort working with senior leadership
Preferred
Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts
Exposure to data governance, quality frameworks, and best practices
Experience integrating data from multiple business systems into a centralized analytics environment
