Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimise data pipelines integrating diverse scientific and enterprise data sources
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical needs into reliable, production-ready solutions
Develop reusable frameworks, improve data quality, and enhance analytics capabilities across products
Contribute to architectural decisions and best-practice standards across the data engineering function
Mentor junior engineers and lead by example through high-quality, maintainable code
Qualification
Required
6+ years' experience in data engineering or software development, ideally within SaaS, analytics, or data-driven environments
Advanced skills in Python and SQL, with experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
Proven ability to deliver complex data projects end-to-end and work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in fast-moving environments
Preferred
Domain exposure to life sciences, biotech, or other data-intensive sectors is advantageous but not required
