Responsibilities
Build data workflows using data processing solutions, such as KNIME
Build dashboards and visualizations using analytic solutions, such as SPOTFIRE
Become an expert in data warehouse in- and outflow, assist users with data flow related questions
Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve user issues with these data apps and data flows
Collaborate with the scientists to upload all data in the discovery data warehouse, enabling data FAIRification
Partner with internal experts and IT professionals to bring solutions for complex data management problems
Qualification
Required
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology or a science related discipline
Experience with data processing and analysis solutions is required, preferably KNIME and SPOTFIRE
Experience with data wrangling (munging) exercises for large science related data sets is required
Familiarity with data collection, managing datasets, understanding of data processing and analysis workflows, is required
Strong networking and relationship building skills, team player
Ability to independently plan, organize, coordinate, lead and execute assigned tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical research and drug discovery is preferred
Familiarity with large datasets, data processing and analysis workflows, knowledge of querying languages such as SQL and programming experience (Python, R, C++, …) is an asset
Background in assay development or screening, data generation and processing is preferred
Experience in working at the interface between electronic data systems and lab scientist, is preferred
