Responsibilities

Lead and supervise project survey teams across urban, rural, and remote areas of Washington and the Pacific Northwest, including scheduling, coordination, and daily operations
Manage diverse project types, including: Control, Boundary, Subdivision, ALTA, Topographic & Design surveys, 3D Scanning and Modeling, Aerial Mapping Control and UAV LiDAR & Imagery surveys, Construction Staking (site development and highway), Bathymetric Surveys
Oversee project management activities, including business development, quality control, project tracking, and client communication
Provide professional and technical oversight, guidance, and mentorship to team members
Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring compliance with technical and contractual requirements
Perform quality control checks on computations and final deliverables
Conduct project research, logistics planning, and review plats and legal descriptions
Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and project-specific safety plans
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Washington Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) registration required, or ability to obtain within 6 months
Minimum of ten (10) years in surveying and mapping, plus at least three (3) years of project management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
Strong interpersonal skills with effective written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work productively and positively in both field and office settings
Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurability standards

Preferred

CFedS certification and PLS registration in adjacent states is highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in Geomatics (surveying) or a related program preferred
Proficiency with Trimble survey equipment and software preferred
Experience with Civil3D (Version 2022 or newer); MicroStation Open Roads is a plus
