Business Development & Client Relations Specialist

ClaimAngel is revolutionizing the legal funding industry as the nation's first transparent pre-settlement funding marketplace. The Business Development & Client Relations Specialist will support the Director of Business Development by managing leads, building relationships with personal injury law firms, and participating in industry events.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain comprehensive lead lists and tracking systems
Input and manage lead data in our CRM database with meticulous accuracy
Track referrals and manage relationships with strategic alliance partners
Conduct outbound calls to personal injury law firms to introduce ClaimAngel's services
Build rapport with attorneys, office managers, and legal staff
Represent ClaimAngel at industry conferences and events nationwide
Manage conference booth operations alongside the Director of Business Development
Participate in client onboarding calls and relationship touchpoints
Gain comprehensive understanding of claim operations, repayments, and sales processes
Shadow and learn from leadership across all departments
Develop expertise in legal funding and the personal injury legal landscape
Transition into relationship management and independent lead generation over time
Build a foundation for long-term career growth within the company
Travel to legal conferences and industry events across the United States
Network with attorneys and industry professionals at conferences
Represent ClaimAngel's brand and mission at in-person events
Coordinate logistics and materials for conference attendance

Consistent and reliable in daily execution

Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced startup environment
2-4 years of professional experience in business development, sales, client services, or related fields
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency with CRM systems or ability to learn quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication
Comfortable with public speaking and networking
Ability to travel frequently (25-40% of time)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred

Experience in personal injury law
Previous sales, business development, or customer success experience
Familiarity with legal industry terminology and processes
Background in relationship-driven roles
