Start in 2026 SummerFarm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a Data Analytics Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will assist in the creation and maintenance of metrics, reports, and data analysis while providing support to the Life Analytics team.

Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and maintenance of life, annuity, and wealth management metrics, reports, and data analysis
Providing support to our Life Analytics team with a focus on Life Operations reporting needs
Performing tasks or working on projects within your hired work area
Exposed to learning in other areas within your assigned division to get more corporate experience
Spent in shared experiences across the organization to learn about our culture and work environment
Qualification
Required
Be a current undergraduate college student, working toward a college degree in data analytics, statistics, or a similar field
Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel required
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be a self-starter, take initiative and be highly motivated
Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
Be able to work full-time (8am-4:30pm M-F) summer 2026 and 15-20 hours/week during the 2026-27 school year
Be able to work in-person at our home office in West Des Moines, IA
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis

Basic R (or other programming language) preferred
