Responsibilities
Day-to-day management, support, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and operations, implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls
Proactively manage servers, workstations, network equipment, phone system, Active Directory environment, approved software, backup systems and corporate help desk
Responsible for IT hardware and software purchases and upgrades to promote and support a stable and robust IT environment
Establish and maintain productive relationships with department leaders and external solution providers to ensure IT efforts align with business needs
Administer the ERP/MRP system, e.g., user support, reporting & vendor coordination
Support and execute digitization initiatives for select office and shop-floor processes
Perform all responsibilities in support of multiple, separate facilities
Convene and participate in regular IT Council meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities across both organizations
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
5-7-yrs. of relevant experience; manufacturing environment preferred
Record of success in managing complex business IT systems and projects
Understanding of cybersecurity, network troubleshooting, and servers and workstations; CMMC/NIST 800-171 familiarity strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with company stakeholders to align IT capabilities with business needs and goals
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; Global Shop Solutions knowledge is a plus
Network administration including wireless and VLAN segmentation
Firewall administration (Sophos, FortiGate, or similar)
Virtualization: Microsoft Hyper-V preferred
Active Directory and Group Policy management
Windows Server 2016 through Server 2022
Microsoft Office 365
Google Workspace
Backup and disaster recovery systems
Voice system management including VoIP
Endpoint security and patch management
CNC machine network integration (Fanuc controls experience a plus)
ERP system administration (Global Shop Solutions preferred)
Help desk/ticket management systems
Effective oral and written communication
Hardware and software troubleshooting and diagnostics
