Information Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Analyst with hands-on MAVEN experience to support public health information systems. This role serves as a critical technical liaison between public health programs and IT teams, focusing on application configuration, Java-based development, and SQL data analysis.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain MAVEN workflows, forms, business rules, notifications, and MMGs
Conduct gap analyses between program workflows and system capabilities
Translate public health program requirements into technical MAVEN solutions
Write, modify, and troubleshoot Java code to support system enhancements
Perform SQL queries for data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting
Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployments
Collaborate with epidemiologists, program staff, IT teams, developers, and external vendors
Document system configurations, technical decisions, and change history
Provide onboarding support, user training, and issue resolution

Required

Proven experience as a Systems Analyst supporting complex enterprise applications
Demonstrated hands-on experience working with MAVEN
Experience configuring rule-based logic and application workflows
Ability to read, write, and modify Java code
Strong proficiency in SQL
Background in public health surveillance, informatics, or disease reporting systems
Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

Experience with ELR, HL7, and MMGs
Prior experience working with a state or local health department
Experience supporting system modernization or enhancement initiatives within MAVEN
