Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing test plans for RF device characterization, including small-signal S‑parameters and basic high-power measurements
Perform calibration, setup, and operation of RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
Troubleshoot basic hardware or software issues in RF test setups under guidance from senior engineers
Support automation of test execution and data analysis using Excel, Python, or similar tools
Assist with prototype assembly, including soldering, basic rework, and hands-on fixture preparation
Collect, organize, and analyze RF measurement data; collaborate with engineering teams to review results
Document test setups, procedures, results, and observed issues clearly and accurately
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
Foundational understanding of RF principles, including s‑parameters, gain, power, harmonics, and modulation basics
Familiarity with common RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
Basic data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel; exposure to Python or similar scripting languages is a plus
Strong problem‑solving abilities and willingness to learn complex RF test methodologies
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a lab environment with engineers and technicians
