ROCKWOOL Group is a global leader in sustainable stone wool solutions, and they are seeking a Maintenance Intern to join their team. The role involves supporting the maintenance function, preparing engineering drawings, managing equipment, and assisting in preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

Support maintenance function Mechanical, Electrical and PLC Automation

AutoCAD and SolidWorks to prepare engineering drawings

Follow up with suppliers

Create SAP parts and PO's

Manage Laser sign printing equipment

Assist in the maintenance, updating and development of the Maintenance Department’s Preventative Maintenance Program to minimize unplanned downtime of equipment and assets

Assist the Maintenance Department to administer work orders to ensure that equipment is received for planned preventative maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns

Tracking downtime data to identify root cause and implement corrective actions

Investigate alternative plant improvement options

Assist in tracking project related timelines

Required

Currently enrolled in post-secondary program in Engineering

Good communication and presentation skills

Team player

Ability to provide input and collaborate on projects with other team members
