Responsibilities
Provide customer service to staff, residents, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols as directed
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building areas, common spaces, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; document observations and take appropriate action
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance, and coordinating with onsite management and/or public resources as required
Monitor access points by checking identification, managing visitor entry, controlling keys and/or badges as assigned, and directing individuals to the appropriate location
Complete accurate shift logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate pertinent information to supervisors and incoming officers during post transitions
Qualification
Required
Have a minimum of 6+ months of security experience
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED
Be 21+ years of age
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
