Maintain documentation and records in accordance with Petersen and customer requirements
Facilitate and assist customer representatives in performing source inspection
Maintain safe work environment
Maintain NDT Certifications
Perform NDT inspections for which certified
Interprets and reports results of inspections, and maintains documentation of inspection activities
Qualification
Required
5 Years experience in Radiograph
Must have valid driver's license
Maintain documentation and records in accordance with Petersen and customer requirements
Facilitate and assist customer representatives in performing source inspection
Maintain safe work environment
Maintain NDT Certifications
Perform NDT inspections for which certified
Interprets and reports results of inspections, and maintains documentation of inspection activities
Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans
Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer
Thorough understanding of industry and Petersen quality system requirements
Experience in field and shop radiography
Experience working with isotopes
Experience working with linatron or linear accelerators
Experience with digital and/or Film methods
Experience with ASME, AWS, NAVSEA, and Nuclear code interpretation
Must be able to understand and give instructions and react favorably in all work situations
Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people
Must be able to communicate in a professional manner
Must be able to work favorably in a high stress environment
Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure
Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position
Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching
Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
Requires mobility to access difficult inspection access areas
Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to properly use necessary equipment
Requires eyesight correctable to within normal range
Requires working under stressful conditions or possible irregular hours
Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others
Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all the employer's safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion
Must be available and willing to work overtime as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs
Must be available and willing to travel as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs
Works in a typical fabrication and machine shop environment
Works in varied conditions, such as outside and inside facility work due to size and complexity of product

High School Education preferred
Welding knowledge/background a plus
