Responsibilities
Act as the primary business analyst for JD Edwards applications, including Financials, Payroll, and Human Resources modules
Partner with Accounting, HR, Payroll, and Operations teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams and vendors
Support configuration, testing, and deployment of JDE enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
Analyze existing business processes and recommend system and process improvements
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial processes as they relate to JDE
Support payroll and HR system processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity
Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user guides
Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for JDE-related issues
Participate in system audits, controls, and compliance initiatives
Occasional collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting JD Edwards
Strong understanding of JDE Financials (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)
Experience supporting Payroll and Human Resources systems and processes
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience in the homebuilding, construction, or real estate development industry
Familiarity with job costing, project accounting, and land development processes
Experience with JDE integrations and reporting tools
Prior involvement in system implementations or major upgrades
