Responsibilities
Understand the core responsibilities of a financial advisor
Prepare for and complete the SIE Exam
Practice client communication and prospecting techniques
Conduct basic market analysis to inform outreach and targeting
Explore industry tools such as CRMs and planning software
Develop confidence in a professional, team-based environment
Weekly Check-ins: Progress updates on SIE prep, marketing tasks, and learning goals
SIE Exam: Interns are expected to sit for the exam by the end of Week 6
Participation: Active involvement in outreach, market analysis, and team discussions
Professional Growth: Informal feedback on communication, initiative, and presentation skills
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college or university program
Interest in pursuing a career in financial services
Ability to commit to a 6-week internship program
Willingness to prepare for and take the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a team-based environment
Basic understanding of financial concepts
Proficiency in using technology and software for research and analysis
Preferred
Previous experience in customer service or sales
Familiarity with financial planning tools and software
Experience with market analysis or research
