The role involves monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents while collaborating with global teams to mitigate risks and ensure timely resolution of security events.

Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts from multiple sources, including Microsoft Defender, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for M365, Microsoft Sentinel, ReliaQuest, LogRhythm and other security platforms
Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring proper containment, eradication, and recovery steps are followed
Perform root cause analysis and document findings for post-incident reviews
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance incident response processes and improve security posture
Maintain accurate and timely incident records in accordance with organizational policies
Assist in developing and refining playbooks and procedures for incident response
Qualification
Required
Experience: 3–5 years in cybersecurity incident response or related security operations role
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, CyberArk, Microsoft Sentinel, ReliaQuest, KQL experience, AWS, Threat hunting and incident triage, MS ATP Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) hunting, LogRhythm, Azure Security Center
Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP preferred; others such as CEH, GIAC, or Microsoft Security certifications are acceptable)
Knowledge: Strong understanding of threat detection, malware analysis, and incident handling best practices
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred
CISSP certification – ideal – not essential
Experience working in a global, remote environment supporting US-based teams
