Associate Compliance Auditor (Benefits & Pension)
Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking an Associate Compliance Auditor to support compliance with standard operating procedures by conducting audits of member benefit records. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy and adherence to processes to facilitate timely benefit distribution while contributing to process improvements.

Responsibilities
Conduct detailed audits of member accounts to ensure accurate benefit disbursement, including pension, refund, deceased, and disability cases
Review benefit records and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures
Build effective working relationships with internal departments and external employers to obtain required information and resolve audit issues with minimal supervision
Identify potential areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance standard operating procedures and departmental processes
Support the compliance audit team in developing, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures and process flow documentation
Ensure settlement-related records are accurately reported and reconciled with employer-provided data
Coordinate with internal teams and employers to verify and resolve discrepancies caused by data variances or regulatory changes
Prepare, document, and process manual corrections to member data as required
Research and review audit processes to promote consistent solutions and standardized documentation
Review assigned benefit escalation items in a timely and accurate manner
Participate in data cleanup initiatives by reviewing, validating, and correcting assigned records
Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field
0–3 years of relevant professional experience in compliance, auditing, benefits administration, payroll, or data review
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Effective problem-solving and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet deadlines and objectives
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated accountability, consistency, and accuracy in task execution
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and support process improvements
Adaptability to changing priorities and evolving business needs
Proficiency with standard office software and computer applications
