Information Systems Security Project Engineer (ISSE)

Revolution Technologies, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Project Engineer to support U.S. Federal Government and Intelligence Community missions. Responsibilities

Work with technical teams to design, develop, test, and implement new networks and network architectures using current technologies, including authorization and accreditation (A&A)
Collaborate with technical teams to complete requirements for all required approvals and maintain compliance throughout the full lifecycle of the A&A process
Partner with Sponsors and users to identify and develop system requirements, considering desired outcomes, hardware limitations, and operational needs
Provide operational testing and recommendations for continuous improvement of equipment and software in support of mission goals and objectives
Coordinate across Sponsor organizations and business partners to expedite operational approvals
Analyze new technologies, hardware, and software to determine applicability and necessity for existing or proposed systems, including security, storage, and network technologies
Ensure compliance with security requirements, including data protection, access control, and incident response
Develop and assist with implementing security controls to protect systems and data, including firewalls, multi-factor authentication, and encryption
Conduct internal risk assessments to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies
Prepare and maintain security documentation, including:
System Security Plans (SSPs)
Security Assessment Reports (SARs)
Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
Coordinate with security teams to ensure projects meet security requirements and resolve security-related issues
Implement the A&A process, including preparing and submitting required documentation and leading A&A meetings and reviews
Ensure projects comply with applicable regulations and standards, including cybersecurity and data protection requirements such as DISA STIGs

Required

Active TS/SCI Full Scope clearance with polygraph
Demonstrated experience with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) process, including acquiring approvals to develop, implement, and operate systems
Required certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Preferred

EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
