NetraVine is seeking a skilled Remote WordPress and Web Developer Consultant to support the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of websites and web applications. The role involves collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality web experiences and providing ongoing technical support.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
Build and optimize responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
Troubleshoot and resolve website performance, security, and functionality issues
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to implement requirements and enhancements
Ensure websites follow best practices for SEO, accessibility, and performance optimization
Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins as needed
Manage domain registrar portals and DNS records, including configuration for hosting, email, and third-party services
Perform regular updates, backups, and testing to maintain site stability and security
Provide technical recommendations, documentation, and ongoing consulting support

Required

5+ years of professional experience in WordPress and web development
Proven experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins
Hands-on experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
Hands-on experience configuring DNS records and managing domains across multiple registrar platforms
Strong understanding of domain registrars, DNS records, and hosting environments
Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, and MySQL
Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred

Experience working in a remote or consulting environment
Familiarity with website performance optimization, security practices, and debugging
Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce)
Preference will be given to candidates with experience integrating WordPress or web platforms with HubSpot and Salesforce (including forms, CRM sync, APIs, and marketing automation tools)
