3+ years expSPECTRAFOR is seeking an Agency Coordinator Senior Specialist (ACSS) responsible for acquiring excavation/encroachment and traffic control permits for work performed in the Public Right of Way and Caltrans Right of Way. This role provides permit acquisition support and reports to the Northern Division within the Construction Permit Organization (CPO).

Responsibilities
Review project plans and construction drawings to identify required permits
Determine appropriate internal resources for permit acquisition
Coordinate with governmental agencies to secure permit approvals
Develop and maintain relationships with permitting authorities
Prepare and submit permit applications and obtain approvals
Act as a single point of contact for all permit-related inquiries
Provide approved permits to project managers and construction teams
Track and report permit application status to stakeholders
Mentor junior permit and contract specialists
Address unfavorable permit conditions and escalate as required
Support and monitor new business processes to meet project deadlines
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in permitting, construction, engineering, utility design, or project management support
Experience obtaining encroachment, excavation, and/or traffic control permits
Experience working with government agencies
Ability to work within construction timelines
Strong reporting and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Associate's Degree required
