Responsibilities
Lead team of professionals in the execution of sourcing projects that deliver commercial benefits, comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements and have sound business principles; challenge the status quo related to negotiation strategies to generate positive outcomes
Analyze sourcing and contract negotiation strategies to challenge and provide guidance to team members to maximize financial benefits to the Bank
Become a strategic advisor to the Lines of Business by building and maintaining strong relationships with the business line and shared services management teams
Oversee the creation of commodity strategies that compliment bank and business line specific strategies to meet company goals and objectives
Ensure that all sourcing projects and contracts meet the minimum requirements of the standard process with all appropriate evidence completed
Utilize risk-based approach, ensure that third party vendor contracts mitigate risk for the enterprise; continuously monitor sourcing processes for opportunities to increase efficiencies and decrease risk
Provide leadership to direct reports to develop talent through engagement and observation; engage team members to identify learning forums (seminars, training, etc.) to strengthen skills and expand knowledge base
Qualification
Required
Experience in Marketing Sourcing &/or Marketing Agency Management
Knowledge/experience with Ariba and other commonly used Procurement applications
Experience in team management and development
Strong analytical ability
Preferred
Experience leveraging Marketing agency forums (like ANA, 4A's)
Extensive experience across key Indirect Categories
Financial Services industry experience
