Responsibilities
Assist the engineering team by performing technical tests and contributing to product validation projects
Carry out test plans for new products to verify that designs meet all functional and performance requirements
Support the New Product Introduction process by testing prototypes and evaluating products before and after launch
Work alongside R&D, Design, and Manufacturing teams to understand test goals and help improve internal processes
Strictly follow and execute established test methodologies and validation plans to check product durability
Assist in identifying the causes of test failures and help the team document issues to prevent them from recurring
Follow all safety, regulatory, and industry standards during every stage of the testing process
Participate in initiatives to make testing more efficient by using data collected during daily tasks
Prepare clear reports on test findings and progress to keep senior engineers and leadership informed of any risks
Use and help maintain automated test programs to speed up testing and improve data accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical or Computer or Software Engineering or related field
0-2 years of experience in product test engineering or validation
Familiarity with the NPI process and hands-on experience with product testing, validation, and troubleshooting
Familiarity in test methodologies, test equipment, and automated testing processes
Experience in developing test programs using software languages such as Python
Proven ability to work within a cross-functional team, collaborating with other team members, and supporting multiple projects concurrently
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to product testing (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS) is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Highly motivated to achieve both team and individual goals
Preferred
Experience in testing consumer products, medical devices, or similar industries
Familiarity with test automation tools and software
Experience writing python scripts to communicate over ADB with android devices
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
