Responsibilities
Advise leadership and lead engineering efforts related to the design, specification, and review of technical documentation for: Substations, Transmission and distribution lines & Energy storage facilities
Develop and execute engineering best practices, standards, and processes aligned with industry requirements and business goals
Have the final say on who you hire onto your team
Collaborate with project management, estimating, procurement, and business development teams to support successful project delivery
Provide engineering input on project scope, schedules, resourcing, and cost estimates
Identify and mitigate technical risk while supporting effective problem resolution
Manage the day-to-day operations of the engineering department
Contribute to strategic planning and long-term business development initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 12+ years of engineering design experience, with at least 8 years focused on power delivery
Experience working directly with utility clients
Strong technical background in power delivery systems, including transmission, distribution, and substations
Ability to balance technical quality, cost efficiency, and project timelines
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
