The role involves leading electrical design and system integration for AI-focused server platforms, developing specifications, and ensuring compliance with high-speed PCB layout guidelines.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and system integration for AI-focused server platforms
Develop specifications, schematics, BOMs, and design documentation for complex server boards and subsystems
Drive architecture and implementation of GPU baseboards, accelerator cards, IO backplanes, and front panels
Define and enforce high-speed PCB layout guidelines and review layouts for electrical compliance
Analyze designs using simulation and calculation tools to ensure signal integrity and power integrity requirements are met
Lead system bring-up, validation, and debug of CPU/GPU server platforms
Work closely with cross-functional teams to balance performance, cost, quality, and schedule
Support manufacturing, test development, and field issue resolution
Mentor engineers and guide external design partners

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
12+ years of experience in server, compute, or high-speed hardware design
Strong background in analog and digital design
Experience with GPU-accelerated or high-performance compute systems
Expertise in high-speed serial and parallel interfaces (PCIe, DDR, SAS/SATA, USB)
Knowledge of power delivery networks and high-density server layouts
Proven ability to debug complex hardware issues in lab and production environments
Strong communication and technical leadership skills
