Responsibilities
Analyze hospital utilization, patient flow, service line volumes, and financial performance
Translate complex healthcare data into clear, decision-ready insights for executives
Support market assessments, demand forecasts, and strategic planning models
Validate and integrate client data across multiple sources (claims, encounters, financials)
Build and maintain Excel- and Tableau-based tools used across consulting engagements
Work with large healthcare datasets and impose structure and logic
Improve existing models and tools rather than starting from scratch each time
Contribute to client presentations and working sessions
Learn how consultants frame problems, communicate tradeoffs, and advise executives
Gain exposure to a wide range of business challenges
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Analytics, Finance or strategy, Healthcare consulting, Or other management consulting experience
Bachelor's degree, ideally in an analytical field (finance, economics, analytics, statistics, etc.)
Strong Excel skills (modeling, formulas, structured analysis) with 2+ years in a professional setting
Experience working with healthcare data (encounters, utilization, financials, claims, etc.)
Ability to explain analyses clearly to non-technical audiences
Comfort working independently on ambiguous problems
Preferred
Tableau experience (joins, calculations, parameters, dashboards)
Exposure to hospital settings, service lines, or capacity planning
SQL or database experience
Client-facing experience
