Responsibilities
Reconciles select accounts and schedules monthly, prior to month end
Posts manual journal entries and any other posting as required
Maintains payables control: posts invoices, prepares checks, and reconciles statements
Maintains control of posted documents
Completes end-of-month accounting reports
Ensures that vendor name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis
Properly represent the dealership to its customers and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
Assists in completion of annual review/audit
Tracks various fuel card purchases
Oversees corporate American Express credit card program and employee purchases
Assists in other projects as requested by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with relevant Accounts Payable responsibility
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent work history
Preferred
ADP/CDK dealership software experience
Accounts Payable experience in an automotive dealership highly preferred, but not required
