Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership as required
Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access
Monitor access points and control entry for employees, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures, including verifying identification and/or delivery documentation as directed
Complete detailed reports of observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel and/or site contacts
Qualification
Required
Be at least 21 years of age
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
Have X-ray screening experience
